Local Business had over 3 foot of standing water in elevator shaft
A local business suffered a water damage from a frozen sprinkler pipe that caused the elevator shaft to retain water. The fire marshal shut the electricity off to the building, not allowing the sump pump in the elevator to pump out the water. Our crews had to come up with a way to remove the water from the small shaft opening and pump it out to the exterior of the building.
With the help of the internet, we found the pump pictured and were able to quickly get the water out of the shaft. Quickly getting the problem fixed allowed the elevator repair company to access, diagnose and fix the electrical items that made the elevator inoperable.
